San Antonio

After driving literally all day yesterday to San Antonio, we spent the majority of the day today splashing and watching big whales splash at Sea World. We splashed in the newly opened Sesame Street Bay of Play (basically the biggest splash pad you have ever seen), Mackenlee rode her 1st and her second roller coaster! She rode the log water ride (I can't remember the name) and like it all the way to the end when she bumped her nose on the front of the log when we went down the last hill. The second roller coaster was a lot more laid back. It is the Shamu Express and she really liked! She told Brian that she was really excited because she got to ride a water ride and a roller coaster all in one day.

While we were there, we sat in on 2 performances. The first was the Baluga Whale show and the second was, of course, the Shamu "Believe" show. Both were a ton of fun and the kids loved watching these big animals jumping and splashing. But I don't think anyone enjoyed watching these whales more than Ethan. The picture of his face pretty much shows how his face was during the entire show. We kept hearing "ooohhh!!" and "wha' tis' it?!" with lots of pointing and clapping. This baby loved the shows and was mesmorized by these animals.

Tomorrow we are planning on packing up a picnic lunch and heading to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch were we will drive thru the safari and feed animals such as zebras, ostriches, giraffes, etc from our car. I am thinking the kids are going to L-O-V-E it! They have a petting zoo at the end of it that the kids will visit. Hopefully I will get to post pictures from tomorrow adventure tomorrow night

Sorry for the ton of pictures on this post but I couldn't leave off the ones from the Shamu show. It's always good to see just how beautiful God can make His creatures!! And these truely are some of the most beautiful!
